This was such a fun project! I loved learning how to blend images together, and making my own text was a lot of fun. For my blending I used the overlay setting and changed some of the opacity and burned some of the edges to give it a cleaner feeling. For my type I used tutorial 15. It was really fun to learn how to create that look with images you took yourself. After making the text I put it on top of the cat tail picture (one of my favorites) and then added the Wyoming type. I tried to apply what I learned in Visual Media about contrasting fonts and colors. I really enjoyed figuring out how to apply and use these new skills. It will surely come in handy! :)

  1. The blended image looks great! You took a pretty good shot of a simple gate and turned it into something unique.

  3. I like how in the second one you used your texture on the words and not the picture looks good.
